On April 7-8, 2021, the international scientific conference “Responsible Consumption and Production in the EU and Russia” was held. The conference continued the series of events implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet project “Introduction of EU Sustainability strategies for Indonesia and Russia (RESTIR)”, coordinated by Narotama University.
The conference was organized by the Department of Marketing of the Faculty of Economics, with the participation of colleagues from MGIMO, the Institut de haute formation aux politiques communautaires (Belgium), Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil), Narotama University (Indonesia) and experts from Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia. On the first day of the conference, lecturers and business partners of RUDN made presentations, on the second day, students of the 3rd year of the bachelor’s degree in marketing made their reports.
The conference was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Yuri Moseikin, the moderators were A.M. Zobov and Deputy Dean for International Affairs E.A. Degtereva.
During the conference, issues of sustainable development in the EU and Russia were highlighted, trends and prospects for the development of responsible production and consumption were considered, examples of specific companies, country ratings, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the achievement of sustainable development goals were discussed.
